It's from cardplayer so it seems reliable. http://www.cardplayer.com/video/pokershow.php The guy says e ach event capped at 2200. 2k players and 200 alternates. He says the ME will be capped at 6600.

I don't think there is a seprate vigorish, I think they take the house cut and toke out of the buy-in, so it will be a ~ $64,000,000

Just looked on their web site, they are taking 6% off the top, so $62,000,000.
Funny, that was my first guess.

no beavis there is a normal vig + the 6%. it is 10,000+ a few hundred (not sure the exact #). the 6% of the top of the prize pool goes to dealers and staff.

From the web site there is no vig listed with the buy-in, there is not vig talked about in any of the WSOP satelite prizes.
For the main event: 2% goes to the staff, and 4% goes to the house 6% total. They did this last year too. I try not to pull this stuff out of my ass.
