I guarantee you online poker is as rife with cheats and colluders as live play, just because it may not have happened to you doesnt mean it doesnt happen. Yes i agree most people are looking for something to blame because they cant accept it could be their poor play.

    Dont be so naive guys.

It's kinda sad if you look at the first few pages and notice that it's full of people who don't post anymore.

Online poker is a very different animal. Some can do it and some can't. I hear the Mike Matusow is a very good cash gamer, but he threw his laptop in his swimming pool after 4 months of playing online a few years ago. He just came back to it because he's sponsored by FTP now. Don't know how he's doing.

But, the point is that not everyone can play online. I think you seriously need to have grown up a gamer of some sort to play well online right off the bat. I think it's the largest reason why so many people of my generation are succeeding online. We've spent the last 15-20 years of our lives playing video games and interactive computer games. Yeah, there was money involved, but when I started, I almost forgot about the money half an hour into it and was just trying to "beat the game."

    Just my $0.02.
    completey agree
i am a consistent, i repeat consistent, live game winner and have attempted to sit at online table a few times, but i can't do it. of course part of it has to do with me not being able to stand to having a real conversation with someone. i get bored and don't make the effort to get to know the players.
in defense for the origianl poster i must say that some sites could be rigged because a lot of people in these types of businesses are a little shady, and if hey wanted they could pull that shit off for a long time. and i would like to see the stuff that he looked at that convinced him of this.
keep in min i do not completly agree.
