Hi all, I'm new here and I'm here with a purpose. I have recently been scammed by Titanpoker and would like to bring it to everyone's attention.
I have been playing on Titan Poker for about a year now. I have almost exclusively been playing the Rio jackpot games. In this jackpot game, you play a $25 six-seat sit'n'go and and if you win 6 games in a row, you win the progressive jackpot.
After nearly a year of play, I won 3 in a row 10 times, 4 in a row 3 times, 5 in a row once and I finally won 6 in a row on August 29th, 2010. At this time, the progressive jackpot was at $65K. Just last week, after a month of investigation and asking me for my passport, drivers licence and a bill to provide proof of address to verify my identity, they told me that my claim to the Rio Jackpot had been denied per their terms and conditions. In short, they accused me of collusion and would not pay out.
I couldn't believe it! What's worse is I have absolutely no recourse. They are registered through Anitgua and Barbuda (Terms of Use) and as such are not subject to any legal remedies for not complying with the terms of their own contract with their players.
I asked them to provide proof of the collusion they accused me of. They completely dismissed my request.
Also, once a jackpot is won, the jackpot is reduced back to $25K and increases by $10K per week. After I won (and they didn't pay), the jackpot was reduced to $25K the next day and did NOT go back to the $65K it was on August 29th, 2010 after they concluded their "investigation" and decided not to pay out. Feel free to check the history on TitanPoker.com and ask them who it was that one the jackpot on August 29th, which caused them to reduce the jackpot to $25K on August 30th. No one won it yet they reduced the jackpot down to $25K.
Titan poker is a scam. I love the look and feel of the site and loved the jackpot game too. But trust me or do your own investigation and you'll come to the same result: Titan poker is a scam! Don't waste your time

Now that they opened up a facebook account go there and post this on their wall , they will be forced to answer if what you claim is true .
If they don't it's bad advertisement for them at least .Last edited by B2BAces; 10-29-2010 at 10:22 PM.

Sticky: Reminder: No online poker-related discussion here!
I feel you. I was scammed by Everest Poker. I had around 400 bucks on my Everest account. One day I'm going to log in and I find that my account was frozen duw to identity verifications and suspicious activity. Like you, I went from sending ID documents to calls to my cellphone... finally they sent an e-mail full of legal crap and they never re-opened my account. Basically, they stole the money.
Nothing you can do. It is on the "Terms & conditions" contract that everyone signs.

I remember once, i took a good long while reading through one of the sites terms and conditions, may of been TITAN or EVEREST, and it says something along the lines of... The poker site has the rite to detain any account (regardless of the funds) if found to be suspicious, and the sites word is FINAL !!

Did you try asking for a supervisor to contact you? If not you should. Titan Poker is a reputable company in my view so you should try to reach out to them again.

Reach out to them or let the dirt go public. Maybe get some help from 2+2? They could probably help out.
