Was watching this video http://poker.codexfind.com/story.php...uff-vs-jc-tranand was wondering how can JC Tran think of folding in this situation especially verse a player like tom dawn? He can’t really beat anything but a bluff but it still puzzles me.

Well it wasn't a great fold, but Dwan played exactly the same as if he had a J or AA, and it was for JC's tourney life. Payout structure, table dynamics, and Dwan's previous tightness (as mentioned by commentators) might've been in JC's mind.

If you want to get good at poker, don't take note of Tom Dwan. There's two ways it can go for you. 5% easy millionaire, 95% homeless.

I could never understand how dwan has gotten to where he is. No disrespect but watching his bluffs on tv just seem like they should be easy to call since he doesn't look nature when he tries to bluff. For instance if he made those bluffs in online he would get called most of the time.

The programs are edited in a way that make him appear more rabid than he actually is. True, if he played consistantly the way he was edited he most likely would be sipping cheap wine out of a paper bag, but the more you watch him the more you realize he's picking his spots and has incredible instinct.
