Anyone playing console texas holdem?

I was wondering if they are worth playing if you are bored. I mean console (as in xbox, ps2). I know there is no real betting (which is alot of the fun of online gambling) and the AI may not be very skilled...but there must be an okay video poker game to play?

definately not...

Never played, but if you want to play with play money, PP and PS are the places IMO.

Wilson's software on hold'em tournaments is a pretty good on. Sure it is for the computer but the AI is pretty good. It is a good tool for learning larger MTT or small Sng's. You can play NL, PL or limit from 1 to 100 tables. Plus you can adjust the AI from average to very tough. You can also choose many different blind structures, and if you want ante's or not. And it tracks your wins, final tables and overall money. It's expensive at like 80 bucks but when you want to practice MTT's it's pretty good. It is also fun to play a world series style tourney in 45 mins.

1-yay vision for poker
2-same as free money on internet = suck.

OK I ADMIT... I have played World Championship poker for Xbox.

Crappy.

Good for a 45 minute diversion if your stuck at the inlaws for 5 days and dont have a solid enough connection or risk installing any software on their machine.

Game play is weak, they play the weirdest shit on the easiest levels, on the harder levels, they play the same shit, but it starts winning more often. Their play doesnt get better, the deck gets adjusted.

A good time ot fuck aroudn with, but NOT worth trying ot learn to play.

Well Negranau and some other pros are working with a company making a new game now. The game is called STACKED, and will be out this summer. Apparently it is supposed to be very good. It is supposed to have very tough AI with computer players that mix up their play. We will have to see, but they were talking about it in a recent card player magazine.
