Default Stupid Poker Trivia

If you move allin UTG wiht AA in a cash game, how many callers do you want? 7, 8, or 9. Don't factor blinds into it.

Interestingly (maybe) profitablilty against random hands peaks at 8 callers, and actually drops a little with the ninth caller.

Well I would only want 1, THE more people in it the less chance you have of winning. I think
A/a has 13% of winning vs 8 7+ players.

I'm working the math mentally here without my hand tables present, but I think from a cost-benefit perspective that I'd want nine (assuming we're talking NL).

The extra money you make from the two additional callers more than offsets the hit your odds receive from the presence of two more hands to have to defeat. I think this is the best "longterm" scenario.

Actually, according to PokerStove, and I had read this elsewhere first.

Your equity drops more from 8-9 callers than the extra money coming into the pot (this is considering even stacks)

In a previous thread from about 6-8 weeks ago, I showed that in pure EV form, I think you want something like 11-12 callers. That wields the best Expected profit. Something like 3.1-1 EV. Where as like 1 caller is 1.7-1. Theoretically of course. If somebody wants to dig up that thread.. go ahead...

But from not having a coronary and anti-tilt standpoint... 2 will do nicely.

no the best 3-way allin for AA would be AA vs KK vs KK, then there's almost no straight possibility, still, thats not too bad for the AA

I dont know how you showed it, but it is not correct, after 8 callers your equity drops more than the new money in the pot adds.

Maybe it was 8, I dont remember...

I do know that it was an insane amoutn of callers where the EV of your hand peaked.
