Ok everyone on this forum has seen Rounders a billion times, but are there any other good poker movies? I keep seeing that Stu Unger movie at the rental store, but haven't had the drive to rent it, anyone seen it? Anyone suggest another poker movie?

Well of course there is Maverick (which sucks for poker but a pretty funny movie). Then the classics "Cincinatti Kid", "Big Hand for a Little Lady", and "The Sting". Also Amirillo Slim had a role in "California Split" (i have never seen it.)

And a kind of new one with Stalone that wasn't horrible called "shade". I actually kind of enjoyed it actually. Yes, I was the one. I'm sure there are alot more that I can't even think of.

Good one, Btown with "The Sting." That's my favorite poker movie ever.

See "High Roller." That's the Stu Ungar story. I watched it with my grandfather last time I went down there after my Vegas trip and he shed a tear or two. Amazing movie. I only have one problem with it. There's a big 10 year gap in the bio, but still very good.

LOL! Yeah, but "compliments of Marm" would have been too long. And I used it last night at True... some guy called two huge bets at a NL25 table with Q2o and rivered a Q to crack my KK. I figured awesome, i'm going to clean this nemo out.... but no, he sat out and left. ARG! But I said "nh nemo", i don't believe he got it.
