I have to take a drug test, using a hair sample.

I am a heavy pot smoker fo 10+yrs

i have stop using 2 weeks ago(IT SUCKS), I have appx 2 months till i need to be clean.

Doing research on net now, Have found a couple of sites that claim they have shampoos/mud that will beat the test, but all thier "Proof" might just be BS.

Anyone know anything that might help.

Hmm... didn't even know you could test for drugs that way (shows what I know!). However, reading up on this test reveals the following:

"Blah. blah. blah (about the test). Therefore a 90 day history of drug use would require a minimum of one and one-half inches of hair length measured from the root line. Regardless of length of the hair sample submitted, test results are limited to 90 days of historical drug use as detectable levels of chemical structures in the core of the hair shaft deteriorate rapidly after this time period."

As such, 2 months is pretty good to get rid of it it seems. Plus 30 days history is half inch. Hence:

** Can you have your hair cut now removing pretty much all of it and then stay clean for the remaining two months **

This should then mean you are pretty untraceable I would suggest. I.e. you have decent hair growth after two months so as not to make it obvious, but the new growth should be pretty clear. To make it even better, cut another half-inch off your hair (i.e. growth from today) just before the test - no need to remove all of it though.

What's the test for by the way?

Oh and I doubt shampoos would work?? It looks like the drug actually is inside the hair root. You could combine shampoos with the above method though for double-safety?!

I beat drug tests by not doing drugs. But I guess you could just nair your entire body and be ok.

benroles advice sounds good...from what i've heard, hair that grows around a time you were smoking will have chemical evidence in it. so basically, what's growing out of your head now is probably clean, but the older stuff isn't. looks like you're gonna need a haircut...

Oh I so miss weed.... BUt with my current occupation.. not a good idea... lean over some soon to be stiff on the street and go "Your gonna die dude, wanna toke?" jsut doesnt go well.

LoL...make sure the hair they cut is from the side of the head you don't sleep on, as the hair you sleep on at night grows slower (hence, not growing the THC out of your hair as fast as the other side), roughly twcie as slow..

WHy dodntyou just get it evenely cut so you dont look like a freak? Bed head on one side and a nice trim on the other.... LOL.

Suggestion Clev. Look at this from an EV standpoint. Cost of losing your job vs cost of doing everything to keep/get it. Buy the shampoos, get weekly haircuts. Shaving your head may or may not work, dependin on fast your hair grows. Mine, 30 days is probably an inch. others dont grow as fast. HTe faster the better. SO only leaving the last, 7 days or so after the THC has stop being deposited into the hair follilcle. Are you sure they are taking the hair from the top of your head? If not, get EVERYTHING naired just before the test. Tell them your wife likes it that way or something. Shave your eyebrows and eyelashes too. THat hair grows much slower, hence can get more of a history from them.
