Default This says it all about online tournaments

SharkScope - The Largest Online Poker Tournament Results Database

Search for top name pros on Full Tilt like Gus Hansen, Phil Gordon, Phil Ivey, David Williams, Mike Matusow... they are all huge losers in online tournaments. The only pro I could find who was showing a positive gain is Chris Ferguson on FT, and it looks like he plays really low stakes, mostly under 20 dollars entry fee.

winning a poker tournament is extremely hard because you freaking need a hole lot of luck just to avoid losing those coin flip / 70-30 situations like AQ vs KK

Wow, where and how can I find the winnings and losings of pros online? I'd like to check it out. I really believe this tho, since everyone I now faces numerous amounts of bad beats online than they would in regular live games. I think we all should email FTP's complaint email section, so they'll fix the computer AI deck, so it seems more like a regular pack of cards.

If you "avoid" coin flip and 70 / 30 situations, you are not playing tournament poker properly.

    End of story.
