www.gamesgrid.com. So this is the newest site I have signed up to and I gotta say it is TIGHT. The software I admit is elementary graphics wise but the software runs well and is pretty fast. Its no party poker but I have no complaints. Its pretty quick and I havent experienced any disconnection problems. The site is brand spankin new so the player base at this point is very limited. However the site is expanding day by day. Why the growth? Its because they offer solid software and UNBELIEVABLE promotions. They are offering a 1000% bonus up to 5000$. yup I couldnt believe it at first either. But this is totally legit. The clearing standards make the bonus harder to clear than some sites but you have an entire year to clear it which should be more than enough time. also, it is not released in one big sum but released as you accumulate pts. Thus it is not an "all or nothing" bonus. along with this promotion they also are currently offering a VFP (very frequent player) club signup in which you can earn money for how many hours you accumulate at the tables. Here are the stipulations:
you play with your own money and you're paid three big blinds of whatever Hold 'Em or Omaha game (three small bet sizes in Stud) game you play per hour. For example, play in $3/6 Hold 'Em would pay $9/hour; $0.25/$0.50 would pay $0.75/hr. Here are the caveats:
* You have to play at least 10 hours per week (from midnight Sunday to midnight Sunday) to qualify for VFP payment. Once you do, you're paid for the exact amount of time you played (e.g. if you played 15 hours and 10 minutes, you're paid for 15 hours and 10 minutes) during that week.
* You may play at more than one table at a time and your pay is multiplied accordingly.
* The amount you can earn is capped at $12/hr per table (e.g. $10/20 Hold 'Em pays $12/hr, not $30/hr).
* You are paid directly to your GamesGrid account weekly.
* You are playing under the invitation of GamesGrid, this means you must act as a good poker citizen on the 'Grid. Abusive behavior of any type is grounds for being removed from the program.
* Playing less than 10 hours in any given week does not automatically drop you from the program.
* VFP payment applies to ring games only, not tournaments.
* You must be dealt cards to qualify as being timed for that hand. Time sitting out does not earn a VFP payment.
* VFPs are eligible for deposit bonuses and affiliate referrals.
Ive also joined up on this and it too is legit and very sweet. Now many of you are probably pretty speculative about why a site would offer such promotions. Well I recently spoke to an administrator at gamesgrid poker and he told me that the approach they have decided to take as a start up poker site is to put more money towards promotions and bonuses than to marketing in an effort to promote the site through word of mouth rather than rigorous marketing campaigns through magazines, TV, etc. To me this makes sense because I would much rather trust word of mouth than some advertisement. So since Ive been so satisfied with gamesgrid I thought Id help them out on that word of mouth issue by letting you guys know that I totally recommend this site and you should jump on their terrific promotions while you still can. I hope you find this post helpful. If you do decide to join please use my username "foteeninches" as your referral code.
