Not quite the same as calling all-in with crap. At that level, everybody is stealing left right and centre. I guess he put you on a steal and tried to re-steal. I'm not saying it was smart, but it wasn't as dumb at the last example.

of course that's a stupid call (what was he putting me on? KJ?), but of course a K flopped
that's fine, I like that because it allows me to profit in long run (20% ROI, against -28% from the guy who called)

but I'm curious
at which stakes shouldn't we expect do see those donks playing? I'd like to improve my game (even if I start losing), not only win because I'm playing donks
do you think $6+$0.50 is enough?
I dont think so. If you dont like multiway action for some reason, the Stars $16s can be rather tight sometimes. $100 and above you should rarely encounter multiple limpers.

$6.50, $3.30, They are all the same. Go play a $55 sit and go and you will see the exact same sick play. It's online poker. Go play a $220 sit and go and you'll see more folds. Online poker is a sick, sick game.. But you will find donkeys at every level. Just adjust your play to match and you'll make money.

Somethign that hasn't been addressed here is that going all-in was a mistake in this situation. Why risk it all when you don't have to? Don't you have any confidence in your post flop game? You could have easily raised to say 600-625 and stole the blinds and limpers. Even if the guy with KQ called you could have seen the flop, missed the flop, and folded when HE went all in. You probably could have done this for less then I said.

I think way too many people think ALL IN is the power move to make in this game, but they couldn't be more wrong. You didn't even have a pair, so why do it? Isolate a player, see a flop, then go from there. Work on a strong post flop game instead of gambling so much. You risked 1350 in chips and your tourny life to win 525 chips?? You didn't have the value here. I think the fact that you lost the hand and are calling the other guy a donk is funny.

If this isn't a level then you should never ever play tournaments.

You joined here in 2005 which suggests you've been playing for at least 3 years. Compare that information with your post and it does not compute!
