Default Going (again) to the casino tonight

Yep, 1-2 table.

Should be coming out with a 100$ profit or so.

Thanks mister.x for your tells, I'll certainly look out for them

yeah, I'm thanking myself

anyways, +115$, 4 hour session

seriously guys, what the fuck are you doing playing online microstakes. I don't want to sound cocky or arrogant, but it's so much easier live. Maybe it's because I pay more attention live also...

maybe I'm just a solid poker player after all (which I am). +1200$ so far, 12 sessions , on average 4 hours each. Also, I am VERY good at reading people.

I played solid poker, again, no beats, no lucky draws, did not have very good cards, but still managed to get most value again. Superb reads, great calls.

don't want to burst your bubble, but 50 hours of live poker at 30 hands an hour (tops) = 1,500 hands. Don't go tooting your horn yet!!!! It takes about a year of playing 40 hours a week to figure out if you're a winner in live games. That's still only 60,000 hands! Online people do that in a week.

I definetly agree with you that live poker is an easier game.

Seany is right, but mister.x might also be right.

Steve is also right. Everyone is right! What a wonderful thread.

how'd you develop your reading ability? Is it natural, is it a result of your 12 sessions, or did you just read a caro book and wing it?
