hello all im in a bit of a rut i think.

I was playing at nl5 and 3 dollar sit n goes i managed to win up to 330 dollars on them so i moved up to nl10 and 6 dollar sit n goes now i cant make money.

I hit 400 dollars i drop down to 330 and so on, i just go up and down and ussually hit 300 again should i go back down to 3 dollar sit n goes + nl5 or just stayin trying to beat the unbeatable for me anyway lol.

im not to sure i dont have poker tracker or anything like as i find the VP IP and all the stats next to people a bit off putting ( amaturish i know )

my session stats for today are hands played 456

hands won 19%
showdowns won 50%

flop hands
flops seen 17%
win if flop seen 41%

and i just got fuckin rivered again! FCKING 8 on the river stupiding fck jessssszzzzzz,.

oh yea and net winnnings -46 dollars

o yea this was playing the 6 dollar sit n goes today,

i lost 3 coinflips when stealing on the bubble.

i lost 1 going all in preflop with QQ the other guy had AA

another one going all in preflop with QQ he had ace 10 and hit.

and then the last one KQ v Q 8 i lost when this happenend

flop Q 3 5 we both go all in here, whats the river yep you guessed it!

As far as nl10 cash goes, that amount of play is less than 10k hands so it could well be standard variance. I've gone breakeven over my last 20k hands so it gets worse, lol.

are they're any free poker tracking programs out there where you can turn off the VP IP overlays ect?

You should probably just get pokertracker, though it's $50 or something. You don't have a HUD with PT, you get that from pahud or gametime+ etc. You can have pt running and no stats showing up, it's just good for reviewing your play later.

Question: You "managed" to win 330? does your use of managed suggest you don't do this normally? What I'm getting at is it time to put a bit of your profit in an area of poker you are more comfortable? Or do you play SNGs all the time?
