As some of you may know, Wota is staking me on Full Tilt. I plan to keep everyone updated on what I am calling 'The Wota Parsons Project' in this thread.

Day 1 - Pretty uneventful day of Omaha 8, up $5 total over 300 hands. The most excitement I got was when PTO wouldn't let me import my hand histories even though they are clearly in the folder, and yes I clicked the tab on Full Tilt. So, there will be no rakeback calculations for today.

I've wanted to ask the last few time you used this acronym... do you know what "imo" means? Your use of it is somewhat... wrong.

So, we're 2 days and about 1,500 hands into the Wota Parsons Project, and all I can say is, "Thank god for rakeback!"

I feel beaten up today, I stayed home because I have a bit of a head cold and played about 1,200 hands of poker. When I was finished I wish I went to Foxwoods! Down, down, down, today. Fortunately I staged a late night rally, so I only have 1 day to make up for not 3.

At the moment the Wota Parsons Project is in the red by$35, but we do have $20 in rakeback accumulated.

I played really well today too, that's what is killing me. I counted only 2 instances all day where I played like a donkey; one cost us $8, the other cost us $6. Just a lot of coolers, and big hands that went down the drain on the river. Could have been a really good day but the donks went to church yesterday, cause they were making miracles on the end to salvage half the pot. I'd have nut/nut and lose it to a guy chasing a Ten high flush with no low, or middle two pair with no low, and have to chop the pot with them.

I've been playing 1/2, preferably 6 max. Currently I'm sticking with O8 and a little HORSE. Once I get the roll to $800-$1,000 I'll go up to 2/4 and 3/6 respectively, where the rake is capped at $3 instead of $1. Obviously a better proposition for RB.

Long-term I figure to keep Wota as my staker until I reach $1,500 then I'll pay him back the initial stake. Playing part time online I figure this will take 2 to 3 months. If I make $800/month Wota and I will both receive $400/month. So after 2 or 3 months Wota will have made $800-$1,200 + his initial stake back.
