Hey Abnart,

Are you not willing to put all your chips in with ladies preflop?

I think you gotta provide more info, like how active this guy is... is he super attacking? Or more conservative?

I don't think you can easily get an answer from us, when you've really just given the bare essentials .

IMHO, I'd go all in with ladies ... called an allin with em vs umich guy the other evening... course he had Ks..... So maybe fold? lol j/k

Cheers,

Mike

I would have folded if i didnt know anything about this guy. If he raises often maybe i would have called but again probably not.
Its 1$/2$, AA, KK own you, AK is 50/50. I really dont think anyone would risk so much with AQ, JJ or less, unless you showed weakness or he is dumb. 150$ stack doesnt look like dumb..

I think he bluffed you. Judging by the size of your stack he probably assumed you were scared money.

Maybe your preflop raise wasn't big enough to represent something strong (3-4xblind raise is the normal raise for any hand worth a raise).

Or maybe he was thinking, "This guy thinks he has an awesome hand, but I have AA which is the best preflop hand, so I will go all-in".

If he's a good player, then he was bluffing, because I dont think a good player would reraise all-in unless he is sure you would call him because if he had AA he would want the pot a little bigger.

I watch some of the 5-10 games, and they bluff very often. And since he had a bigger stack, he probably wasn't that worried you would call(maybe he had a small-medium pair or suited connectors).

Still I think it was a good fold because you had no info about him, and it would suck to lose your entire stack on one hand.

BTW why you playing with such a small roll? I'm looking now, and the average pot between the games is around 30 bucks+, thats like half your stack.

So dunno........

EDIT: Why would he overbet your stack by double(150 his stack, 70 your stack)? I do this often when I have the biggest stack just to scare people into folding because all-in means the raiser is committed even though he may be bluffing, which shows a lot of strength. But if he had KK or AA he wouldn't want to scare you by overbetting your entire stack. He would want you to call right?

OK IM RAMBLING......

over betting the stack doesnt matter jus easier instead of making a mistake n not putting him all in

he didnt fucking bluff risk $80 for $8 thats winning poker right there

goose ur thinking is so off.........

if u have QQ how much u supposed to raise then? $20?? so u get raised by KK n AA n everything else folds???

if u got AA or KK n u raise him all in hes not lettin him make a play on him n gettin all his money in wit the best hand. also winning a $11 pot witout showing a hand aint bad
