anyone that can write and play poker?
Hello everyone. I'm new. Can anyone point me in the right direction. This section looks like the place to talk about this.. but I dont want to put it in the wrong place and get kicked off on my first day here!! I need some volunteers (around ten or so would be smashing to begin with).. I run storywar.com for writers but am also a keen poker player, so I've built a special section of storywar for us poker players! It will be called BadBeatsAndLuckyStreaks.com but at the moment it lives at storywar.com/badbeatsandluckystreaks.
It's basically a place for everyone to tell their amazing poker stories and get advice from other players.. how they could have played that hand better, same thing happened to them etc. Poker stories are also rated on a scale from one to ten.. so the most outrageous (or cool) stories move up the charts and the stinkers move down..
The idea has worked well for regular stories on storywar.com (I have over 500 members and nearly 800 submissions) and I hope it will be just as popular as a poker based community too.
So... any takers? or anyone know who would be interested in this? if youre not sure how it works check out storywar.com cause that's how it will look with tons of stories.. there's only one poker story on badbeats at the moment.. my tester!
