Default some more poker tracker stats

I like fooling around with this thing, I should have gotten it years ago! I'm approaching 10K hands now.

OK, I'm winning with every pair, 22-AA. no surprise there

I'm also a winner with every suited connector right down to 23. this is a little surprising. the smallest winner is .18, 78s. the biggest winner is KQs at 1.08, JQs at .93, JTs at .61. this is more than TT, AQ, even AKs.

A few VPIP stats to show the frequency i play these hands

23s VPIP 5%, so i don't play it very often!

67s VPIP 31%

89s VPIP 60%

Apparently these hands are pretty profitable as shown by me playing 89s 60% of the time and I'm winning .70 with it.

my top earners are, you can guess the earning of the blank ones I'm sure!!

JJ 1.97BB/hand
AA 1.56BB/hand
99 1.17BB/hand
KQs
KK
QQ
AJs
QJs .93BB/hand

the hands I found that I'm surprised I'm losing with are

QTs -.15, 22% VPIP

J9s -.30 47% VPIP (this explains it!)

ATs -.82!!!!! 88% VPIP, again this explains it

A9s -.85, my biggest loser 50% VPIP

no other hand really jumps out at me as a surprising loser, although JQ was a little bit of a disappointment. Anyone else have results to compare.

I really like how that poker tracker works, I'm still going through figuring out how to work it as I just decided to go through the trial version finally. A little overwhelming, but by the looks of the way you just analzyzed your hands I'm figuring out I need to figure it out quick if I'm going to suvive playing online poker.

Nice stats btw...heh...

you're an idiot. 10K in live play would be about 4 months of playing 4 hours a day, how is this meaningless?

and i didn't say thisd proved anything just starting a discussion, you're very close to my ignore list.

A9s is being overplayed by you too. I play NL exclusively when it comes to online HE, so obviously my A9s VPIP will be lower than yours with this hand, but I'm at 21% with it.

Same explanation for my LSC's. My 89s is 27%, but my 67s is a whopping 68%. Because of the raising, I'm more likely to win more straights and lose less money with 67 than 89. K9 is played by more people than J7.

I realize I'm overplaying all my losers, except the QTs. having trouble figuring this out it should be a winner and I'm not overplaying it.

Grow up, no need to be a little punk, if you don't like the thread ignore it, you just make yourself look like an idiot with comments like this.

Take it for what it is worth.

AA is a huge winner, 10 times and 4BB.hand

Interestingly, I am also up almost a BB/hand with 22.

I am negative for all suited connectors including AK and KQ.

for suited hands my biggest winner is AJs, that is my hand, has been since I first started playing.

Q7s is second - Qxs is the most powerful hand in holdem. Q3s and Q5s are also profitable.

ATs AJs AQs and AJo are my most profitable Ax hands.

A4s and A3s are profitable, and ATo is now profitable too (this used to be a leak), stopped playing it so much.

I am now profitable in the SB and only -.22 in the BB.

Interesting stuff.

Default PT stats

You're on Limit I guess but this might apply..

If you look at the strong hole cards class 1/2 by themselves you get a good idea of if your playing them right just by if they are winning.

For the middle range cards (QJ, AT, JT, 9Ts) the win rate can be small however you play them roughly the same way (i.e late, non-raised pot etc). If you look at AT and decide to not play it because its a loser you might end up not playing these cards at all - then there's an opportunity cost. As an example my third Royal flush came from limping in early on a loose table with ATs

I find it helps with less than 50k hands to say am I playing this group of cards correctly? If I am up one the group which I use the same strategy for then I'm playing them OK

This is very relevant with small pairs. You find at around 10-20k hands you get some apparant leaks in playing smll pairs but some big winners (e.g 33 does btter than QQ but 44 is a big loser). To get some idea if your playing small pairs well, then look at 22-55 as a group.

The other interesting thing about PT stats on other ppl is that by going to the miscellaneous tab for a player you'll see just who can't bet out high pair. (just about everyone at the lower limits at Party ) - the upshot is that many ppl don't raise peflop with strong hole cards (other than AA KK).... not that I'm complaining...

like diggler, i'm still getting the hang of the trial version. after i figure it all out, i might get the real one. i probably will. i spent like an hour tonight trying to figure out all the abbreviations and configuring an email account and all that stuff (i'm slow with computers).

hearing what you guys have said about pokertracker has been helpful in figuring out what to look at on the menus and the advantages of having it. thanks!
