The regular ring play blows, it's pure luck. EVeryone calls everything, unless u got the nuts u got no chance. The tournament was okay, 100 people, 1500 chips. Blinds go like this 25/50;50/100;75/150;100/200;200/400, etc.
Every 20 minutes. It moved kinda quickly... I brought my stack to 2700 but then lost to a kicker, making myself only 1900 chips. Then the 200/400 blinds just ate at me, finally i had 1100 left, went all in with AQo when guy with 1000 went all in ahead of me with KJo, but a guy on the BB had KK and won, knocking us out.
I think I played well except for the kicker... I shoulda seen it coming. I did some good bluffs and won some decent pots

I'm definetely going back, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday is NL Hold'em tourney, Wednesday is 7card stud. Monday/Wednesday are morning tourneys, Tuesday/Thursday are tournies at start at 6:30.
There are some good players, I'm definetely able to compete and I should be making a good number of final table appearances.
You'd be very suprised how many people there play online poker. Guy I met plays Tournaments on PP, this dealer plays NL Hold'em tournaments for any stakes on

Was pretty cool

Just wish the structure was a little more sound, but I'm definetely going back for more tournaments.
It's split to the top 10, #1 gets 26%, then it goes down accordingly.
Meh, it was fun. I was +50 on the Limit tables, and tournament cost $45, and my sandwhich cost 4.75 (its a big, mean sandwhich with a nice pickel!!), so I guess gas cost like .75, so im even!!!
