OMG, I would absolutely love to do this. However, unless I have an absolutely crazy run at the tables, I don't think a Frankfurt to Las Vegas ticket will be able to fit into my budget.

PF.org freeroll(s), maybe even a series of our own, for a couple of smaller WSOP events would be cool where we advertise the poker site (Central, are you listening?) on the front and a PF.org hat.

Red,
You wouldn't even be down for a $100 or $200 game. There are a lot of soft $500 games. Hotels are pretty expensive on the weekends there and remember that is vacation season and I know that the Rio, Palms, Harrah's, and Orleans are booked. I have a girl that I'm shackin' up with when I go out there in a couple of weeks. Who knows how that'll go? If it's only a couple of us (couple as in 2 extras), maybe that could work. She lives just off-Strip and works at Sapphire, so that'll be some great extra fun.

Alexander The Great,

I would not go unless there was a good bunch of us going.. like at least 5 or 6...

What do you mean by "You wouldn't even be down for a $100 or $200 game"?

How much would the hotels be? $50 a night? I'm fine with sleeping on the floor...

at least $100 on the weekends, but worth it. buffets are cheap and very good and have a huge selection.

There are $100 and $200 buy in NLHE games. You're sayin' that you don't wanna play? I'm tellin' you, the $500 games at Mirage are geeeeucy.

so $100 and $200 buy-in means $0.5/1?

$100 a night... are 2 allowed per room? If so, that's $50 right there...

I was actually thinking this the other day... and today to actually... If I ever came into some cash I'd do a freeroll here and offer some entries into a WSOP event. And of course, t-shirts. I was actually thinking Baseball jerseys with our handles on the back (ok ok lame).

I know Gold Coast has a 1/2 $100 buy in and Bellagio has a 2/5 $200 game. The Mirage game is a 3/5 with a $300 min. and a $500 max. A lot of people were buying in for $300. Actually, over 6 sessions there, I can only think of 2 or 3 people buying in for $500 other than me. Like I said, very soft.

The limit SSO8 games are pretty fun. I played a 5/10 game, bought in for $250, took some swings over an hour and a half while waiting to play the NLHE game and left the table with an extra $50. The game was similar to an online 1/2 LO8 game.

I'm in the same boat as bonch, but I think my parents WOULD actually let me go. It is just way too far for me to have to travel though. A roundtrip outta here would be pretty expensive too.
