Default Ultimate bet witholding my money - help!

First post - bit concerned as i signed up for ultimatebet.com deposited my money with the intention of playing poker on my mobile phone. Realised i didnt like the range of tables and wanted to withdraw my money.

1. Firstly i am unable to retrieve my money by the same method i deposited it

2. I will incur a charge to cash a cheque as i am a UK resident

After requesting this cheque i am now subject to a security check and need to provide photo id and my card by fax. I have no photo id and do not want to fax my card details i'm happy to talk on the phone to confirm who i am.

Has anyone experienced something like this or know how i can get my money back?

Thanks in advance

Haven't you got a passport or a driving licence (even a provisional). If you are over 18 (which you should be to play) how do you get into bars and nightclubs without ID?

As far as I know you cannot cashout back to some cards (I've had to get cheques to cashout) but I never had a problem getting the cheque sent. I would suggest getting in touch with them and tell them you don't want to send card details but if you don't have ID you will have problems, get some ID.

They shouldn't ask for card details IMO (and I wouldn't send them EVER), if the deposit was approved then there shouldn't be problems, it doesn't all add up to me. All they should ask for is photo-id and maybe a utility bill or something to prove the address. Are you sure this is UB and not some scam?

This is pretty standard.

I am not comfortable with sending card details with a photo id and my address. My Bank have advised me not to do this and are investigating the 3rd party organisation taking payments from Ultimate Bet. Although this is not to say that ultimate bet are doing anything underhand its just that there procedure of requiring all this information together is a little odd.

I hope to sort this out soon, i will see if photo id is sufficient as well as an address

You're making this way too complicated.

i have yet to be asked for any form of id from any poker site.

although i wouldnt like to send my id to a site either, at the end of the day it is likely that its the only way ur gonna get ur money at this stage

if u mean that this is pretty standard for Ultimate Bet to mess around with a players balance, then yes, you are correct

I have given in and I am willing to send over the details arguing with them will not solve anything.

Does anyone know their international fax number the ones I am using do not seem to work and they tell me they do so I am a little stuck

1-866-306-3384
1-800-783-9366

These are the ones I've tried, they say these work and I should post my documents to them instead (from the UK)

Party tried making me do this and so did Titan.

I'm guessing you're around 18 years old, OP?

In future use the fucktards that are Neteller. They may have atrocious customer service but it sure is a hell of a lot easier getting money in to and out of poker sites.

Funny story - I have had my photo id's, cards verified.
So I have now gone to cash out, I get a rejection so I mail them to ask why and they tell me that I made my withdrawal soon after cashing in so they need to investigate.

I thought the whole point of my photo id and card details would be the only security issue.

I am screwed, if this was U.K at least the legal side of this would be easy to access or if I lived in U.S but they are taking advantage of my location and trying to rip me off.
Pathetic organisation - sorry for the rant im just p*ssed at this pathetic site (UB that is)
