Default Only playing the nuts in a Casino

When playing in a tournament, you want to try to vary your play so you aren't readable like a book.

When you're playing your standard NL casino game, where people come and go every 30 minutes or so, is there really anything wrong with only playing the nuts?

Yes, some people might figure it out and they won't ever call you, but isn't it fairly safe to say there will always be someone new at the table that doesn't know you and will call you down with 2 pair?

The only thing wrong I can see with this strategy is:
1) you may not get the nuts often enough to make it profitable
2) it may be kind of boring (but it's kind of like fishing, long periods of waiting followed by a couple minutes of excitement)

No, because it's very rare that you'll have the complete nuts. So your saying you'd fold a K high flush because it's not the nuts?

There's nothing wrong with only playing strong hands.

Only playing the nuts is a bit extreme

So, do you fold everything preflop except for AA. Then fold every flop that doesn't give you top set or quads without any straights or flushes possible that can beat your trips?

Sorry I meant after the flop. Pre-flop use the normal strategy. Normaly I think really hard about what the other person could have based on how I've seen that person play and how he bet this hand (IE: "well he probably doesn't have a pocket pair because he just flat called the raise...") but it hasn't been working out for me and I'm thinking maybe I should just assume the other player has a monster hand unless I have the nuts on the flop.
