I've been using GT+ and PokerAceHud with Poker Tracker at Party for several weeks now. For what it's worth I'll give my review for anyone who's never tried them.
PokerAceHud:
-I HATE the graphics and cheesy layout options. I've changed the fonts, moved the stats around, etc and it just seems very rough and blocky looking for my taste.
-Works wonderfully, seems to bog the pc down much less than GT+.
-Auto detects tables, displays stats for observed hands which is a huge plus.
-Shows hole cards of players who went to showdown, so you don't have to look in the HH.
-Looks in multiple databases for stats on players.
-Since it works with observed hands it gives you live stats in S&G's and Tournies, although it isn't able to give you stored stats from PT.
GT+:
-Super slick looking layout. In my personal opinion it looks alot better than PAH.
-Very nice pop up window stats on players, PAH does the same but I like GT's window better.
-Seems to really tax the pc when several tables are being "watched" by GT.
-Only looks in the default PT database for player stats.
-You must be sitting at the table for GT to display stats, it will not work off of observed hands.
-Doesn't work with S&G's or Tournies.
Sooo, it looks like PAH wins hands down, however, I still really like GT+. PAH does more and probably works a little better IMO but I really just hate the look of PAH, however I end up using it now because of it's functionality.
However, one thing to consider is with the new release of PAH it cost $25. GT+ is still free. Hope this helps someone. I'd advise downloading them both and trying them out. I know several people who don't think twice about the graphics of PAH and love it. So to each his own.

Oh by the way, DeeYakaBaka, GT+ doesn't work with S&G's as my post probably explained. Try PAH and set PT to observe the hands and have PAH running. After a few hands it will start showing the stats for the current game but not from your PT database. It's still great info though and is without a doubt helping me with S&G's.

I find this is the case at Pokerstars, but at Party it works on observed tables just fine. I use it to get a picture of the table's makeup before I choose to sit down.
PAH works on tournaments? Maybe I'll have to get it. I miss having the info available when I switch from ring to tourneys.

Good review. If you multitable then PAH is far superior - I'm actually buying it GT+ is far too heavy on resources - If you only have two or thee tables open then fair enough GT+ is enough.

Excellent review Tex, my thoughts exactly. I'm still a huge GT+ guy, just out of sheer loyalty, but PAHUD is the HUD to use, especially since now it is a commercial product and is fully supported with CS on par with PT's.
I am now using the full commercial version of PAHUD, so I guess I like it. It's still a new product in its infancy, and I have given Josh about a dozen bug reports that he has fixed (or will), but its a good program, and it covers everything GT+ doesnt.

Glad the review might have been helpful to someone. I'm with you Marm, GT+ is just too good of a (free) program to give up on. I think GT+ could be improved and tweaked in the future to become a program even better than PAH. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

It went opensource basically because Kevin really doesn't seem to want to spend anymore time on it. Most of the latest upgrades to it haven't come from the original developer.
