Default LET THE INSANITY BEGIN! (The 3.5 day marathon)

For those of you not already in the know, all my friends are gone for Easter and I live too far away because of college from my family to make the trek (especially when I just did for spring break). So I have all today, all tomorrow, all Saturday, and all Sunday to play an incredible amount of poker.

I have no work and no classes so this should be fun to say the least

And if I can get enough sleep tomorrow night, I'm pulling a 24 hour session (broken up at some points obv.) on Saturday.

So here's how it's going to go...I'm going to try and play 3 3hr sessions each day, excluding any MTTs I may get in. For ring, I'm going to 5-table so hopefully I can see 400+ hands/hr. So I'm looking for 1200+ hands a session, and 3500+ hands a day. If I feel like I'm playing really well, or I'm really focused, I'll play longer. And of course, if at times I don't feel I'm playing optimally or I'm not into, I'll take time off and hit it hard later.

I am shooting for 15-20K hands at the end of this. Hopefully it can be to the tune of something like 5K hands for NL10, then 10K+ hands for NL25 before the end of Sunday. In my database, I have almost 10K hands logged already for NL25, and I was running at a little over 6BB/100 but this was from late last year. My game has improved greatly)

When I get bored with the ring however, I will 4 table the $6.60 turbos with the $4.40 180 man SNGs.

When I hit $550, it's right up to the $11s and NL25.

Saturday is the BIG day. I'm thinking though, on the other 2 days, I can do 4 3hr sessions and still be OK. Today will get it started because I want to log a few thousand hands playing 5 tables and see how it goes.

I will be tracking the profit/losses as well as hands played and various stats in this thead at the end of every session.

The goal: $1100 total by the end of this, AT THE MINIMUM. See, in a week I need to have $400 for my mom for insurance, and I want to be able to put $200 or so back in the bank. Obv., the greater the total the better, but I will not settle for anything less than $1100. I'll play for 2 days straight if I have to, haha.

The first session starts today at 3 PM...I'll probably go until 7 PM, take a break, then play from like 10 PM to 1 AM.

SO LET'S GOGOGOGOGOG

Well, just got a little 1hr45minute session in. 600 hands. Got my sample over 1K, and I can all ready tell, this level is going to be pretty frustrating, haha.

Right now I'm at 8.16BB/100, with a VP$IP: 18.7, PFR: 13.4%, post-flop aggro: 3.2

I realize the first 2 numbers are low but that's because: I rarely limp, and if I do raise, I fold to most reraises. But after an hour or so, people started catching on and playing back and I was getting frustrated. Profit of this one would've been higher but I ran KK into a donkey's flopped nut straight.

Tonight, I think I'm going all SNGs and MTTs. They're both much better games for me, and I can still pump out a lot.

Yup. SeanM2205

Just played 4 SNGs...lost 2 because of rivered straights, lost 1 because of an overpair, and 2nd in one. I hate playing great poker, and the results not being there. I know the variance and luck will even out...but hopefully soon

Played another couple of hours tonight but nothing spectacular. Played like 7 SNGs, 1 1st, 1 2nd, like 3 suckouts haha.

I tried a $4.40, busted 47th. KK got cracked by AK. I still run infinitely bad, haha.

I didn't get much sleep last night, probably 3 hrs worth, but got some great sex...haha, so my game's not too sharp right now so I'm calling it a night.

Tomorrow morning, 11AM, the fun REALLY begins
