Any one happen to watch the live webcast of this event? It was really awesome, and a great final table, and had the craziest final hand ever!
It came down to Marc Karam and Gavin Griffin, who battled heads up for about two hours until this hand:
Blinds: 25,000-50,000 5,000 ante
Gavin had about 5.5 million in chips, and Marc had 5 million.
Gavin raises to 150k pre-flop, Marc re-raises to 500,000k. Gavin calls
Flop:
2-3-4 rainbow
Marc raises 500,000, Gavin re-raises to 2,000,000. Marc instantly announce's all-in. Gavin thinks for a while, then calls. Marc shows 7-4, and Gavin shows K-5!!!
Turn:
3
River:
King
And the match ends in typical Riverstars fashion with Lee Jones doing the the live commentary, and Gavin was a Pokerstars qualifier, how suspicious! :P
Gavin took down 1.8 million Euro's, and Marc took 1 million euro's. It was the most exciting poker I've ever watched, and you really missed out if you didn't watch it.
