Default Need advice !!

Hi, my poker room just informed me that I have won a seat in a $95 seat in a $150,000+ pool tournament. I am not sure as to how many other players are also registered, but it is a big one, and this is the first time I have played in a tourney this big.

When is it?

I've also won a $100 seat in a biggie and normally play cash games, so I'm spending the time before it to re-read HOH I & II and watch a few tourney videos from Cardrunners.

I'm also buying in to a few $10 MTTs to get back up to speed with tourney strategy.

The big tournaments always get tough the closer you get to the end. It is not enough to keep your ground and get to a paying position passively!

Definitely read the Harrington on hold'em books (at least the first 2 anyway), they will really help your tourney game. That'll give you a good foundation but in any one tourney you're gonna need some poker gods smiling on you!

I have to recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Right, usually in the smaller tournaments I play it as safe as possible and just survive the blinds, but one time I played the next level up, thinking I can use the same strategy, and I was just eaten alive.
I get to a poker site, I really want to get to a good position in this one, I know how to play aggressively too but I want to have a good strategy before I start
