Anyone ever heard of this game? My buddy Zacobius was just telling me about it.

You're sitting at a blackjack table and everyone has to ante before the hand starts. All the players at the table get 2 cards and the dealer gets 2 cards. Each player is essentially heads up against the dealer and don't play against each other. At this point the player can fold his ante or call twice the ante. Flop comes, each player can check or bet. Dealer must call your bets blind and can't raise. Turn and river are the same. The dealer doesn't look at his cards until the showdown and if your hand beats the dealer then you win whatever you wagered along the way.

Would this game not be really easy to beat? I can't find the houses edge here.

The dealer is such a fish, he calls you all the way down to the river no see no look!! Uhh actually this game is only fun if you are trying to kill time while youre on the waiting list for real poker. Dont play the bonus either thats where the house edge mainly lies. Also its fun to treat it like real poker, when the dealer sucks out via gut shot on the river you shout, " HOWD YOU CALL MY BET ON THE TURN, YOU FISH!"

I suppose the fact hes playing 5 players means hes very unlikely to lose all 5. And on the hands where the dealer makes the nuts hes taking money from 5 players.
That said im sure a good player could make some money from it just by playing sensible.
Oh, because the dealer doesnt look at his hand cant fold, its impossible to put him on a hand, so if you have a straight and the dealer has something bigger, you would normally be able to lay these good hands down based on your opponents actions, whereas here many players are just going to hang themselves when the dealer has a hand that you could never put a decent real player on.

This is what bad postflop players have been waiting for.
