Default Goal to reach by april..

Alright i'm pretty motivated now to do well in poker at my local casino.. sum prick 19 year old mother fucker is playing in the 20/40 limit game there and i can't have that.. so i'm applying myself like never before... i'm going to grind my way up starting at the 2/5 limit tables... my goal is to at least make it to the 10/20 limit game and a bankroll of 6000 (the 10/20 limit is actually the only game that plays that semi-tough there but is still actually pretty weak.. i've played with players that play in the 10/20 and there pretty stupid) Anyways i started with 100 dollars last thursday and played for 5 days straight and have gotten my roll up to 650.. haven't showed a losing session yet and woulda been up to 850 but i tryed counting cards at the black jack table and that shit went south fast.. So i'm going to try to get up to 2500 before i move to the 5/10 limit then to 6000 before i move to the 10/20 limit.. i'm giving myself till april (cause thats when i have to move back home). I really want to do this and beleive i can.. i'm crushing the 2/5 tables and have been making some sick reads.. I'll drop another thread when i reach the 5/10 limit, which at this pace will probabley be within the next two weeks if i can keep this pace up..

i don't think i've ever claimed live poker or online poker is rigged and i've been playing in casino rooms for almost a year now.. you know what IS rigged THAT FUCKING BLACKJACK SHUFFLE MASTER..and 5 12 hour sessions in a row is enough hands to see varience.. i went down 100 last night when my AA QQ QQ and JJ lost to inside straights on the river(the wonders of low limit) but i hit a late night rush and finished up 20...so WHEN i reach 10/20 we'll talk about fucking varience

Thats like 60 hours of maybe 30 hands, roughly 1800 hands. I play that every day online.

Not meaning to be a prick, I'm sure you are a winning player. You are also probably also on a good run right now.

Don't get all defensive. The poker player who thinks the odds don't apply to him will not be prepared for the INEVITABLE downswing. Trust us....there WILL be a downswing. The best players in the world aren't immune to it, how could you ever think you are?

No. I am a sad geek who is grateful that I can make a living without having to interact with people outside my family or wake up before midday.
