I have a question about the rules. I played in a game where a player in front of me went "all in". I said "I think she has me covered anyway, I'm all in". A player behind me who had both of us covered in chips called. He only put in the pot what the player to my right had. I ended up winning the hand and as it turns out had more chips than the player to my right. Should the player to my left have matched my chips or just have been on the hook to cover the player on my right?

If you declared all in, than he must match your stack.
Did you flip your cards? Was there any action on subsequent rounds?

No, the only action after I called all in was the player with the most chips called. He then only felt he should have paid the amount of the player to my right who had less chips than me. He based this point on my saying "she has me covered."

BS, if you said the words "ALL IN" then that's what you are. This is especially true if the action was then treated as though both of you were all in.

The dealer should have counted the money before putting in the pot to make sure the bets are correct...
But once the betting is over and the money is mixed in the pot, it's over. You can't do anything about it (unless the guy wants to be ethical and give you the money), but officialy he doesn't have to...
