Little Green Book. It's more basic and will be a nice introduction to a lot of the materials you'll cover in TOP.

McJ's right, LGB is more basic and will serve as a good intro but I would personally go for TOP first. It covers pretty much everything from the basic to the more complicated and while some ideas will go straight over your head, if you read it through and then read LGB you may be able to pick apart and understand some of the concepts better than if you had just gone straight into it. then after reading LGB go back and read TOP again and you'll pick up so much more that you missed first time around. I read TOP first and would recommend it (just don't get too tied up in understanding everything first time).

If that makes any sense!

I have to recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

That does make sense. I usually approach poker books by reading them cover to cover initially. I will then reread them and study the concepts in detail. Sklansky's books usually don't flow very well and the sections seem disjointed, so once you're aware of the content you will find yourself referring back to certain sections as and when you need to.
