I have only been playing holdem around one-two weeks. How do people become great i have been the top in many large online games etc before and theres always been some trick to is like a way that makes you alot better alot quicker.

Is there something like this for holdem or is it just experience?

There's no quick way to become an instant winner. Practice practice practice at the lower levels and read some books. You have to learn to adapt to each table and this comes with experience. Don't be worried about losing to start with (within reason obviously) cos (almost) everyone starts out as a losing player.

What an odd question.
It's going to sound like a cliche but you need to eat, sleep and breathe poker. Any chance I get I'm either playing poker, watching poker on TV or reading about poker.

if you have only been playing for two weeks i highly suggest trying to get a home game together with friends or other begginers that want to start playing poker. there is no way to iget good at the game quick, most of the people on this forum have just started playing a year or so ago and they may be pretty proficient at most. also understand that the game requires an ass load of patients and dicipline, and if you dont have that to start i would quit now
