he can do all the calculations he wants, he's made 4 final tables since 1989.
he just doesn't have the results to make me consider him a very good player, at least on that i want to learn the game from. his style works sometimes for making the backend of the money, but he'll never win another tournament in his life. he can't play with today's players.
Sklanskys concepts and stradegies are more suitable for limit games. His ideas are profitable there.
Making final tables is great and all but look at the WSOP 2006 winner. Entered most hands behind and sucked out so many times. Making final tables multiple times involves great play but also a lot of luck when the field is big as it is now.

Hand charts are stupid because, like everything in poker, your starting hand selection is relative to so many factors.
