Default Rules Question

three players in the pot.
player one bets out. player two moves allin. player three calls. player one stands up looking pained and shows the table his hand before announcing his intentions to call or fold.

Real game, the hand is dead. You could do this then closely watch the others reaction before calling or folding

I think you can do this in a cash game. It is dependent upon inividual house rules I assume.

It entirely depends on house rules.

Even casinos have differnet rules about it.
Most of the time at casinos your hand is not dead and can still be played.

In my house, that hand is dead.

Here is a page on exposed cards.
