Default This made me Smile!

Had very little as reads go, all seem typicla players of $2-$4 PS,

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with As, Kd.
Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks.

I know raise with AK utg, but I had been raising alot (AK AQ AJ 88 ect in ep) only to dump later in hand cuz of lack of help and pressure from others, So i was a little gun shy on this one, plus I like added benfit of showing no strenght pre flop

Flop: (6 SB) 3h, 3d, Qs (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, SB folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Crap flop, I feel I have enuff to take one off for 1SB

Turn: (5 BB) Kh (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 calls, BB calls, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, BB calls.

BINGO!! I felt CR in this spot was no brainer, was and still worried BB is slow playing a 3 ( what could he have?? I figure he would of lead out on flop if he had Q, so i feel its either a small PP or a slow played 3, I REALLY think its the 3)

River: (13 BB) 8s (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, UTG+2 folds, BB calls, Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, BB calls.

This is were it got fun, As I said I was worried BB had a 3, So I cked in fear of Ck Raise, so when he just calles UTG+1 bet It removes ALL doubt, Time to raise it!!

Final Pot: 19 BB

Results below:
BB has 8h Qd (two pair, queens and eights).
Hero has As Kd (two pair, kings and threes).
UTG+1 has Kc 9h (two pair, kings and threes).
Outcome: Hero wins 19 BB.

Very strange line on this hand, for whole table,

If BB leads out on flop , I fold in fear it might be raised behind me, But when it's only one SB and i CLOSE action on Rd, it's a very easy call.

UTG+1, what was he thinking bluffing a pot with 6 players in on flop, had VERY little chanch to take it down there, But I glad he did.

It was 1st time I have been able to CR twice on a hand

Don't say you limped because you were gun shy, say you were doing it to mix up your game, that looks better

I was about to word it that way, But I like putting my weak plays out there for me to learn from it.

As this hand turned out the limp w AK really paid off, If I open raise I make like 10BB?

I do mix up my hands i limp or raise with, when time seems right, But i did this limp for other reason, fear/tilt/weak/bleeding chips,,,, i dont like that feeling, rather limp when i want to.

Hand turnd out gr8 and got wash that feeling away

Raise preflop. fear/tilt/weak/bleeding chips These are quite simply weird/stupid reasons.

BINGO!! I felt CR in this spot was no brainer, was and still worried BB is slow playing a 3 ( what could he have?? I figure he would of lead out on flop if he had Q, so i feel its either a small PP or a slow played 3, I REALLY think its the 3)

Without any sort of read on a player that's just calling and calling, I don't work hard to narrow down their hands too much. For example, here I would say he could have a mid PP, a queen, maybe a king. They're all possible here. Even a weirdly played 3 is possible, but if you think about it how likely is it that he has a 3 vs a PP,queen, or king?

Now you could say stuff like, "Well I think he would have bet on the flop with a queen, and since he didn't bet, he just can't have a queen." But do you reaaallly know this guy that well? Generally I don't focus on narrowing down the hand ranges of the calling/passive players because their action (or inaction) gives so little information. Though it might have made sense for the BB to bet the flop with the queen, you really can't predict how unknown players play, especially when they are just calling. So just remember to keep all the possiblities open and play the percentages. (ex: It's soooooo much more likely that he has a midPP/queen/king than a 3, so don't let the fact that a 3 beats you stop you from betting/raising when you have the best hand a high percentage of the time.)

I think I could have worded this better, but oh wells.

If BB leads out on flop , I fold in fear it might be raised behind me, But when it's only one SB and i CLOSE action on Rd, it's a very easy call.

This is solid thinking.

And again, raise preflop.
