Default Back to the penny tables.

Long story short, this month has been horrible to me. A mix of bad beats, bad play and some pretty wicked tilting has lost me almost half my bankroll. So I've decided to move down limits, the ultimate move down you might say. I'm going back to where my I started my bankroll with $11 about half a year ago.

I've withdrawn most of what was left of my wilted bankroll (about $200) and left myself $25 to hit the penny games with. I did this for two reasons, one because as an unemployed teenager at the moment money is hard to come by, and two, because I want to be able to take this seriously.

I hope to regain my self-discipline and patience by starting over again and hopefully master my tilt, which had no doubt lost me some money. Wish me success.

There are myths of Chris Ferguson building $10K from $10 starting from micro limit tables. I'm trying to do the same thing, but I don't have much time to play at the moment.

So far I've gone from $2 to over $14, but I'm still a long way off. I'll race you to $100!

when I got back from my deployment I blew through pretty much my entire bankroll... down to .60. I'm trying to see what I can do with that now... was up to 40 bucks briefly yesterday, but am sitting at 10 right now.

That's what I'm trying to do. I traded 500K play money chips for $5, and now I'm up to $400

I gotta take a break or move down as well.

It's fucking ridiculous how many hands I lose. Not even a donkey could possibly lose that much with a random hand. It's not one particular bad beat, it's just every fucking hand losing on the river to a flush (sometimes backdoor flush) or straight. This is true both for coinflips and normal postflop play. I also ran into aces every fucking time I got the pocket kings. This should happen like 1/20 times or something like that. Not to mention the probability of losing so many coinflips in a row.

Good luck, WeakTight. Take your $25 and build an empire.

It's never cool to tilt but so long as you realize your mistake you should concentrate on how you built your bankroll in the first place. I say, seriously, take your $25 and play a 6 player STT. Win or lose, man, so long as you cash out more than you deposit, as a teenager that's a pretty cool part-time job.

It beats selling drugs. Which, by the by, if you have any I'm looking....
