I think quite a lot of poker is skill, especially in regards to live tournaments.

He's not saying that there is no skill in poker. He's saying that your level of skill doesn't dictate the stakes you play for as much as your bankroll does. I'm probably better than some people who play at the $1, $5 or $100 level. I just can't afford to play at those tables.

Maybe not as much, but from what i've noticed, you do get more good players as the stakes increase. Maybe others have experienced differently.

i think it can actually be tough sometimes beating weak players, even players like Doyle Brunson say that they seem to do better against good players.
