Starting hands limit Hold Em pt. 3
JT
This hand gets a lot of publicity, especially the suited variety.
I have a love/hate relationship with this hand it is great in a multiway pot and not as good heads up or 3 handed.
This hand has some serious draw flopping potential 26% on a 4 straight and 11% on the flush if it's suited, AND SOMETIMES THOSE FIGURES WILL OVERLAP GIVING YOU THE STRAIGHT FLUSH DRAW. Add in the lovely 9% of the time you flop 2 pair or better and you've got a pretty strong hand.
Situation 1 - you have JTs in early position with a very loose aggressive player on your left (almost a maniac, but his hand has to have some value for him to raise think 89/A6/57s type hands at the least), the game usually has 2-4 players seeing the flop for 1-3 bets on avg. but not too many people will call 2 or more bets cold without a hand. What do you do?
Situation 2 - you have JT offsuit in the SB 4 avg or lower skilled players have limped what do you do?
Situation 3 - you have JTs on the button, a loose player limped UTG, a decent player has raised from EP and another decent player has reraised what do you do?

how about 4 you in the BB, one limper, CO raises, button and SB fold.

i would call there Beav, even offsuit. But I'm pretty fanatical about my blind! if it's suited or has 1 gap I'll play it.

1. I usually wont play weak than KJs in EP, easy fold unless the table is really passive and fishy - not the case here.
2. I call - got the odds to go for the straight draw.
3. FOLD! FOLD! HAVE I FOLDED YET!
One problem with catching two pair to this hand, it will put a straight draw out, if not make a straight possible for a lot of the holding you will be up against, you have almost no top pair value (Av8) I am really looking for a draw with this hand (but I will stick around with two pair).

I agree 95% of the time, but there is 1 scenario running through my head that I'm contemplating.
I usually won't play lower than AQ up front, but this guy on my left is giving me a strange idea!!!

1) fold.
2) call in all SB structures, unless BB was prone to raising.
3) fold.
4) I used to call this, but I've begun to fold it. I am really not sure about this though.
I think Beavis's situation is most interesting.
