Been about a year since I played a sit & go so I played a few this week to see if it would rekindle my poker passion. I forgot how much I liked these!

they're only 20 person $10+1 on party, but hey not bad once i got the rust off my shorthanded play. These are my actual notes from these, they're pretty amusing now that i look at them.

4th, ok not a bad start to the comeback, snuck into the money. $9 profit

4th again, uh oh i sense a pattern forming. busted out with AJ as #2 chip man, Steve you idiot. $9 profit

2nd, one of my better played tournaments, wouldn't change anything i did. big stack throughout. $49 profit

11th, KK v AJ. $11 loss

13th, played stupid, way too loose early (called raise to 90 with 89s) I should have waited a little bit after losing the KK v AJ. $11 loss

7th, played 2 hands lost both. $11 loss

12th, will i ever hit the money again???

1st, there we go, nice final table play and outplayed my opponent but got unlucky(QQ v AQ) then got lucky A6s v AJ when I had a 3 to 1 chip lead rivered a 6. guy actually had the nerve to say LUCKY!!! $69 profit

so a total profit of $92 + the $122 i made playing 1 O8 table (and posting on here nonstop of course)!

I have only played 3 of these (I think they were all $5 3-table games) with Jayfo.

Made one final table, but when out when I hit 7s full on the turn and my opponent river quads.

They seem to be much diferent than both 1 table SnGs and MTTs. Especially with the blind structure on party.

If I ever decide to get back into these I will probably play on PS, because of the better structure.

I like the structure on party, 1000 chips, it let's me gamble a little at first, then I just tighten up at the 25/50 level or if I fall to 800 chips.

Basically with the quality of players if I ever get to 4000 chips I know I'm almost guaranteed to hit the money. I used to play the 3 table $30+3's all the time and used the same strategy with a lot of success.

A little more practice to work out the kinks in my game and I'll go back to the 30s.

the structure on stars, 1500 chips, and elsewhere allows too much gambling at the beginning for my taste. Kind of personal preference though.
