not to sound stupid.... but what could possibly be gained from paying for play money chips... if you play poker stars play money then you know its not too diffucult to win play money chips, and easily to make 100k... thats why i switched to real money.... REAL money, not like an imaginary friend or anythign.. REAL MONEY, and you can win REEEAAAL money with it. my 11 year old sister plays pokerstars play money...

pokerstars pay their affiliates to accumulate chips. The idea being they give them 10$ for their paychips and lose it on the tables then they get a taste for real money gambling and deposite.

For the life of me I can't figure out why anyone would want to buy play money chips? I had a buddy who had never played poker in his life sign up at Party just to goof off and play one day. In his very first day of playing he had over 500,000 chips and he didn't even know which hands beat what. He just kept doubling and trippling up over and over. He lost them all in about 10 mins though.lol
Why the heck would ANYONE pay money for those chips? That is nuts.
