Hey
Ok ive been taking a break from playing to read some books.
And i was thinking after reading a somewhat intimidating introduction to NLhe

eory and practice in which they basically say dude you can read this book all you want but if you aint a natural your pissing time against the wall.......which sort of made me think how will you know if your a natural or not, if you can ever do really well?
Then after reading this book i started to get slightly confused in mainly this book but others also you are presented with so many ultimate statments:
Mistakes are where the money comes from
Good players profit is the difference between them building large pots with their good hands and keeping the pot small with their bad hands.
And i dunno the book just seems quite confusing to me all this setting traps and stuff they talk about seems real hard. My problem with what they say is that they keep adding things you should be thinking about at each point like do i have a big pot hand......how shall i play the whole hand out to get the biggest pot with my big pot hand but also things like putting your opponets in situations where they are likly to make mistakes and setting traps for them......all these things you have to think about...seems i dunno wierd
So anyway so I can see the bigger picture easier im gonna take notes, ill post them up here for others if they help me out.
(i just stacked a guy first hand i played at this table on stars

)
If anyones read/studied (nlhe theory and practice) i sure would love to have a quick convo with you.
Cheers
