Default call me crazy

fyi i right now im playing $100 nl on party.

i have noticed that if you take a little bit longer before you are going to make a continuation bet, it honestly seems like you are called less often.

has anyone else noticed this? it honestly works!

yup, nomatter what anyone says, there are dfeinately timing tells etc when online, especially in no limit i've found. i never had to time my clicks in limit, but i find myself pausing on purpose in nl and it seems to be helping

Timing tells are iffy. Of course, if it's working, it's working, but with other people I'm just looking for patterns and I'm pretty cautious with using them to make a decision with a lot of multitablers online.

I'm the kind of person that's doing so many things while I play that my timing's completely random. I generally act fast, though. The fingermouse, getting something from the fridge, being on the phone, IM'ing, typing on here have all to do with my timing- seldom whether I want action or not. Some people think it's bad etiquette that I'll click "fold to any bet" if I'm busy and completely uninterested because it induces bets because I'm saying that I'm folding with the auto-check. Don't really care. If they don't like it, they shouldn't play online.

ROFL.. i do this too!!!!.. and it does work, i swear everytime i wait like 15 seconds to make that bet, they fold more often...
its as if, when u give them more time to think before its there turn, the more they convince themselves there hand is no good..

at first, i thought it was just a supersitition thing i had going on.. good to see that im not the only one rofl..

what also works is if ur planning to check-fold the river.. instead of checking right away, u wait a bit then check... i find that ur opponent is more likely to check it down as well.
