Default Rounder9999 on UB

If you don't have Ultimate Buddy and UB on your hard drive, this guy is reason to have it. Rounder9999 along with Prahlad/Mahatma, TillerMan/INTillerMaN, and variations of lolo are the sick fucks who have me in the red at or near 5 digits. I was playing NL$1k on UB and was in the red on that site thanks to these four. FTP and Party are the only reasons why I've had my head above water online in 5/10NL- though not by much going into this month.

I'm not a fan of railing online poker. It's more boring than when you were a kid watching someone play a video game when you were at their house, but these 4 never cease to amaze me. gder and I saw Rounder9999 run his $10k buy-in on a 50/100NL 6max. table up to $124k last we saw.

Sick. Abslolutely sick. Man, I suck at Hold 'em

Were you watching that last night?

yeah, playing 1k does require a lot of table selection, its a much harder game than 2/4 and 3/6. i dont even play 1k. i just played the 10k the other day because im a compulsive gambler. i played some 300/600 too and lost, now withdrew all but 10k for my online role, 5k in party, 5k in ub and gonna go from there. so watch out

After losing a good amount to those mentioned above, I withdrew a lot and stuck to whoring my rakeback. That's why I was on the mid limit 6max. binge there.

I don't keep much KAYSH online. My dad bought me a book Xmas '01 called The Finish Rich Workbook and this was when I was just barbacking and selling coke on campus. This book taught me the most valuable lesson I've learned- Pay yourself first. That's why what seems like me flaming on people for playing too big looks bad at times.

It's not about poker when I say that. It's seriously from me overspending on stupid shit that I don't need. It's about money management. You can be a great money manger when the money gets in that "supply zone." You can be the most disciplined gambler in the world and be shitty at money management.

As much as I'm in awe of "Mahatma" as a poker player- that man, as in Prahlad Friedman, the man, is a DANGEROUS steamer with too much money online. I've seen him lose tens of thousands heads up and ask the person he's playing top be patient while he re-deposits a couple of times. Great poker player, but horrible example to follow as a whole, IMO.
Again, all due respect as a player. He's the best I've sat with and he's owned me- Tiller in a close 2nd and lolo would be 2A. Tiller and lolo are much more disciplined, though. Limited amount of hands at the table with Rounder, but he's another I'm extremely careful to enter a pot with.

EDIT: You only live about an hour away from me. Get a fake if you wanna play a juicy big game. This is Chi-Town, brother. You're too old to not have one.

Yeah. Im a chronic UB railbird. MOst of the time im not in mood to play. I see some of the sickest forms of poker @ the 6max 50-100nl stakes. You'd prolly need 500k minimum to play that game.

Also, UB added 50-100 6max PLO. There are some strait up rounders @ that game. LIke names Iv never recognized, (maybe NL fish, but PLO sharks). I believe i read on 2+2 that a dude was sitting on 280k spread on 3 tables. If you like action, watch that game.

Some day well see bboy and alex there.

I wouldn't put that much money on an online table unless I had it to burn and I'd still be weird about it.

There's a 5/10NL game at Majestic (formerly Trump) in Gary, IN with NoMax. buy in. Even when that cardroom's dead as hell, the 2/5 $200 game there is a ridiculous cash cow. Not uncommon at all to cash out for at least $1k in about 4-5 hours. There are a couple of underground clubs in the city, but they're so exclusive that they're shark tanks. Only 1 gets pretty juicy and that's once or twice a week at best.
