After losing a good amount to those mentioned above, I withdrew a lot and stuck to whoring my rakeback. That's why I was on the mid limit 6max. binge there.
I don't keep much KAYSH online. My dad bought me a book Xmas '01 called
The Finish Rich Workbook and this was when I was just barbacking and selling coke on campus. This book taught me the most valuable lesson I've learned-
Pay yourself first. That's why what seems like me flaming on people for playing too big looks bad at times.
It's not about poker when I say that. It's seriously from me overspending on stupid shit that I don't need. It's about money management. You can be a great money manger when the money gets in that "supply zone." You can be the most disciplined gambler in the world and be shitty at money management.
As much as I'm in awe of "Mahatma" as a poker player- that man, as in Prahlad Friedman, the man, is a DANGEROUS steamer with too much money online. I've seen him lose tens of thousands heads up and ask the person he's playing top be patient while he re-deposits a couple of times. Great poker player, but horrible example to follow as a whole, IMO.
Again, all due respect as a player. He's the best I've sat with and he's owned me- Tiller in a close 2nd and lolo would be 2A. Tiller and lolo are much more disciplined, though. Limited amount of hands at the table with Rounder, but he's another I'm extremely careful to enter a pot with.
EDIT: You only live about an hour away from me. Get a fake if you wanna play a juicy big game. This is Chi-Town, brother. You're too old to not have one.
