Whats going on with ESPN?
honestly... i appreciate the fact that they are televising the '06 WSOP so fast.... but come on... the WSOP Circuit events, televising almost every single tournament... does anyone else think they are beating this to death? now they are televising the World Domino Championship... they trying to make it the next WSOP or something? Whats next, backgammon? chinese checkers? maybe Dave Chapelle is right and they will actually have a World Series of Dice...

i just realize that i started my original post off with the WSOP then went off on a tangent... this should probably be in gen discussion...
anyways... itd be cool to see if Ashy Larry made a comeback from his bad run last year...

they also have world series of darts now to.
I would like to see ESPN use the deuce or create the ocho as ESPN games chanel or something. Then they could run these to their hearts content.
Espn is turning into MTV and VH1, where their programming no longer reflects their reason for being. MTV play music, ESPN play sports not games

well I dont think airing circuit events is a big deal. last year the circuit events had Antonio, Jen Harman, Phil Ivey, etc.. so it was fairly entertaining.
WSOP of darts is pretty stupid. however thanks to it i understand some basic rules of the game.
ESPN are ideots. they air so much crap. Its a marketting tool to get new viewers. I get 4 ESPN channels, so luckily I can switch from 1 to the other.
