Okay just trying to work somthing out need your input. Imagin this a 5/10 NL 10 man full table. I buy in for 200$ and go all in first hand lets say.... middle position.

What's the max. buy-in?

If it's a $200 or $500 game, I'll call with AA-JJ and AK

If this is a deeper stacked game at I'll call you with big cards. AA-99, AK-AJ, and KQ.

i dont play 5/10 nl but i can answer your question.

if i just limped in i limped with a speculative hand, AJo, KQo, etc. (i might raise these hands at the right table,)

however if i raise im going to make it $30 to $60, and there are very few hands that i raise in EP with and then fold for a $200 push. obv i raise AA KK QQ and call all of those. i also call with AK, i might call with JJ. like alex said it also depends on the starting stacks and stuff.

i wont call an open push with AK or JJ most likley, i call because ive alrleady raised X ammount and its only so much more to call.

it also depends on how big of a loon i actually think you are, by the way you are acting and stuff.

Well I probably already open raised for 5bb so am not folding much at all.

If I open limped, I would fold anything unless Im trapping since it is likely a low-mid pocket pair.

So would I have open raised or open limped and also crucial - does my call close the betting?

Okay, cheers guys. I was just considering if it could ever be +ev to do this, because if you stole the blinds you would be getting 7.5% of your stack + the chance that somone calls and you win. However the calling range of cards seems too large in order for it to seem possible, i was going on the assumption of AA,kk,QQ being calling hand only. thats 1.5% each person has it right? so round the table 9x1.5% chance somone is holding one of them is 13.5%.. so your getting 7.5% back for a 13.5% chance of being called but the chance you beat the person might level it up to be a 15%raise on your stack each time? Neways i was just tired and thinking about it.

It's his first hand.

You kow, if we're deep stacked, just to be a dick, I'll call with JTs-45s and T8s-35s.
