Reviewing your games
I have just recently started using the Pacific poker section that replays your hands (Poker Office has a similar feature not sure about Poker Tracker), absolutely brilliant. I really recommend doing this sort of review (if you don't already). Replaying it rather than just looking at the HHs seems to make it easier to see what was going on, it's like watching someone else play so is much easier to evaluate.
I have watched a couple of my SnGs from the last few nights and there are definite points when you go, huh, what was I thinking.
This is a great way to learn from your mistakes as sometimes in the heat of the moment you just think it's a bad beat or that you were unlucky but in reality the signs were all there and due to your own mental situation at the time you missed them.
I would post a few HHs if there was a way of getting the info from Pacific into a good format.
Anyone else do this? And if so has it helped your game?
I'd love to see some hands posted in here where people thought they were just unlucky but on closer inspection they were downright daft.
