Default Much of a difference between .5/1 and 1/2?

I'm contemplating making a move up shortly, however I wanted to become more focused on 6 max games instead of full ring (limit games). I only started playing 6 max maybe a month or so ago and don't feel like I have enough hands in to even determine anything. Part of the reason is I started my 6 max play mostly at a site that didn't support PT (play wise I was even on my deposit + my bonus). And lately I'm back to full ring on Paradise to clear the bonus because there's no 6 max .5/1 tables.

I can play either and/or both comfortably as far as BR goes (just never tried 1/2 yet) but do you guys think I should gain a fair amount of experience at .5/1 6 max first?

There is some difference in play, there are alot more whores that play 1/2 especially at the sites that offer decent bonuses. Most of these players play full ring, because they are basically ABC multi-tabling semi-bots.

At 6-max there isn't very much difference between the levels IMO. But again alot of it depends where you play, at Paradise the 1/2 short games are total fish-fests while at Absolute most of the games are quite hard.

I wouldn't worry too much about gaining experience at .5/1 before moving up, you can always slowly start adding 1/2 tables, if you usually 3 table play 2 .5/1 and 1 1/2 etc...

Well as it stands right now I'm up nice on Paradise on full ring....thinking I might not want to mess with that formula just yet, only have $50 bonus left to clear.

After that it's probably going to be Full Tilt bonus through PSO then Titan through them also. Titans 6 max I'm familiar with from doing BetFred, but I guess throwing in a 1/2 here and there might not be a bad idea.
