Explain Spread Limit to me.
The tourneys at the local cardrooms are spread limit, not no limit. From reading about it, it seemed that spread limit meant it was like fixed limit, but you didn't have to bet as much if you didn't want to. Like, if the blinds were 50/100. A few guys call the BB. Flop. One dude bets 100. You can raise, but not more than another 100. You can make it 175, but not more than 200. But someone else I was talking to said spread is a lot like NL. I wasn't getting it.
Anybody have a good explanation for me?
Thanks.
