From the little I've heard on this, it's a test arrest which are just feebs throwing whatever they can at the wall in hope that something sticks because this oppurtunity doesn't come often as Carruthers said that he wouldn't enter the U.S. if the bill was to be passed.

A BS "promoting gambling" charge can go down, but that's very vague and that could stick only because advertising for the .com pay-sites are paid for outside of legalized gambling jurisdictions.

probably old news at this stage but figured id link to what seems to be a detailed description of why he was arrested.....doesnt seem like its a "test the waters" type arrest.

if im reading it right, he accepted bets from US citizens which was a bold thing to do so he must now go to this room and think about what he did......maybe im not reading it right though
