Just wondering which form of poker that you guys play causes you the most frustration, leading to Tilt.

For me it has gotta be

1.Stud and Stud8 2. LO8b 3. Short handed LHE

Seems that NLHE and PLO cause me the least amount of tilt, how bout you guys?

Just got me thinking after I decided to dabble in some Stud again after swearing it off a few months ago.

Nothing burns my ass like Razz and PLO8. I've been donating in PLO8 games for about 4 years and Razz for about 2.5.

Omaha games I know the edges are very close, so when I get busted i know its math. HOwvere i do get tilty when I make bad calls.

6 NL max though, I really get pissed off when ppl make bad plays. however thats not tilt. just pissyness. 6max ill tilt if I play 300+ hands, not win any pots, but lose a bunch of small ones. Then i look @ my account and it is like -150bb.

50NL HU. I only play that when im on tilt, so thats 100% tilt. very bad for my b/r

7stud I think i'd die from boredom before i could get tilted.

I once played 1/2 Royal holdem w/ a dude that didnt fold pf. that got me tilted.

Nor do i tilt during tournys or SNgs.
I take pride in my tilt control. Like I can lose a 200bb pot, and then lose a 100bb pot, and then a little later lose a 100bb pot and still be playing the way I was before I lost the initila 200bb pot.

I think I tend to tilt more based on the amount of time I'm playing. Seems like the longer I've been playing the more prone I am to tilting, although I'm working on that. After several hundred hands you see a fair amount of beats in that time, idiots making $ hand over fist with rags while your good hands get cracked. The longer that goes on the more it starts affecting me.

Honestly I think NL tournament playing tends to tilt me more than anything. I'm not even really sure why, it's what I started with and the concept is appealing. Maybe it's just from waiting, and waiting for a hand, and some donk busts you out with crap that really bothers me. Ring games you just move to the next hand, and you can sometimes make $ back of the same donks that cracked your hand earlier.

I haven't been playing 6 max LHE all that long but I think I like it better than full....so far.

Been months since I even played NLHE ring games.

PLO8, Stud, and Stud8 I mess around with at the micros and I play occasionally for a change of pace after a session. So for the most part they don't really bother me.

One thing I have also noticed is I get very anxious when I'm clearing bonuses as I get towards the end of finishing it. It's like I just can't wait for it to be done with like I need 100-150 more hands, and if I catch a bad run during that time it bothers me.

Any type of MTT has the ability to tilt me.

If I play for hours and don't make a mistake and then get one bad beat when there are 10 players left and top 9 pay meaning the past 2-3 hours have been worth nothing it really pisses me off.

In a cash game I can reload and tell myself I made the correct mathematical play and long term I am winning, however this is not much consolation when you are now out a tournament.

razz does the opposite for me, it actually calms me down when HE or Omaha is whooping my ass

Im going through that right now trying to to get off of Prima. I went through a huge downswing in final 200 hands that almost had me make a "online poker is rigged" post. I've come out of it and have about 65 hands left.......almost to the finish line!

I don't tilt.

If I was to go on tilt it would most likely be shorthanded NL cash games that'd do it to me.

Stud pisses me off to no extent.

the only other game that is above the others is PLO during those brutal, get your money in with 20 outs make it on the turn and lose to a boat on the river, Lose with top full house or flush to Quads or straight flush, can't make a stinking hand, type of runs
