Because of my girlfriend's profession, she's often away for long periods so, don't have that problem.
When she is around, i spend most of my time with her, as she's far more important than poker.
Not a massive problem for me as i don't make much money from poker, and it's just a fun pastime for me, my main source(and most profitable) of gambling comes from sports betting, which takes me only a couple of hours/week to do at work.

I play for over 5 hours a night with no probs ... this is what I do...
1. Leave work ... straight down the beer garden and chat ... Women like to chat.
2. Get home after a couple of hours and wash the pots ... Women hate washing pots.
3. Record the soaps..... Women love watching soaps ... however they do not stay awake long enough to see the end.
4. Play poker till 2am.
5. Gently wake her up and take her to bed telling her that its an early night tonight.
6. Last resort .... make her believe that you are the next WSOP champ and already discuss how we are gonna spend the $10 million dollars.
