Default Bodog heads up poker challenge

Right well Im going to try some heads up play over at Bodog, hopefully to improve my skills and bankroll.

Ive got a bankroll of $86.01 there which would see me having just over 15 buyins for the $5 + 25c

The aim is to win 2/3 of the ones that I play so that over the long run im going to be making a profit. Im not a bad heads up player and have developed a few good strategies but now its time to put them into practise.

Ill keep you updated on how things go... The hardest thing for me will be keeping track of wins/losses since ive NEVER kept records in the past, this in turn should help my discipline and ill finally be able to see if im beating a game at anything...

Total wins 11
Total losses 7

Winning % 61.11%

Profit/Loss 15.5

Started off well and then finished off the sessions well. Want to get my win% up above 70 if I can then Ill look into building my roll into $200 so I can play $10 + 1 heads up games. I suspect I will clear 200 or so at this level before I even look at moving up.

Well its not going as well now. I think Ive bit a slightly boggy patch, I need to be analysing my situations more and thinking in detail about all my decisions. Ive been outdrawn a lot too... for instance all in with QQ on 754 flop and he calls with 33 to spike a 3 on turn.

Im going to focus on wearing them down for the higher blinds. Im running into some quite tight people who I guess will have to be trapped.

Time to take a break i guess im playing too much which is causing me to tilt. Havent had much luck with Bodog at the moment put $95 and down to $59 through playing 1 on 1 SNGs Ill think about what im going to do next but I just think its a bad run.

Any serious thoughts for headsup play?

only a very skilled player could win 66% of the time, so imo that figure is unrealistic.

I think if your good, you can win 60% of the time.
so you play 100 pay 500+25
win 600

so after 100sngs your up $75

so every 10sngs you make about 1.5 buy ins. This is if your good. If your ok, then Id say youd be making half that. so only +1.5BI/20sngs

if your average, your prolly break even, or (-).
if you suck your prolly -1.5BI/10sngs maybe more.

Its good that your sticking w/ the challenge instead of quiting. I think if you play 200sngs you'd have a good assessment of your skill.
